We spent this Thanksgiving in Oregon. Sam went on his first tree hunting experience and hated it. From hiking in the snow to cutting down poor defenseless trees, he was not very impressed. 
Maybe it will grow on him next time.
For Sam’s birthday we went deep sea fishing on the Butchie B out of Fisherman’s Wharf. Michael, Shannon, James, Karen, Lisa, Matt and some Danes came along too. We had beautiful weather with sunny skies and calm seas. Despite the calm seas the trip didn’t agree with most of the sailors and we had quite a few incidents of chumming overboard. Lisa caught a 25 pound salmon, which was almost as big as she was! None of the rest of us caught anything, so we went to Blowfish that night for dinner.
